Planning a funeral is understandably a difficult task and the clergy and staff of St. Joseph Parish strive to facilitate the necessary details for you.

For anyone who has chosen cremation, a Memorial Mass may be scheduled by contacting the Parish Office for the date, time, and the costs associated with the ceremony schedule.

For anyone who will be working with a funeral home, the details of the visitation and mass will be discussed with the funeral home representative. That representative will coordinate with our parish to schedule a mass.

All fees for the visitation as well as the funeral Mass will be collected by the funeral home and shared with the church the day of the mass.

For all Memorial Masses, Funeral Masses, or Celebrations of life, parishioners may select the music and readings or elect to have the parish priest and organist select music for the ceremony, if preferred. The family will work directly with the parish secretary to select all music and readings for their family.

If a family member wishes to offer a eulogy, please refer to The Norms and Regulations for Funeral Liturgies.
